The magnificent Dragon

Seated under the Chestnut Tree

Rises and begins the Rain dance

 

When the Stars pass away

One by one

When even the moonbeam

Cannot wipe away my darkest nights

 

The luminous Dragon

Seated under the Chestnut Tree

Rises and begins to shine

With a thousand lights

 

When the Time gives us no time

When every instant

Is an eternity without you

When I would give the Eternity

For an instant with you

 

The generous Dragon

Seated under the Chestnut Tree

Rises and hands me down

The Pearl of Immortality

Quand le Paradis paraît si loin

Quand les portes de l’Enfer sont grandes ouvertes

Quand le Ciel n’a pas de larmes à verser

Pour apaiser ma soif

 

Le magnifique Dragon

Assis sous le Marronnier

Se lève et commence

La danse de la Pluie

 

Quand les Étoiles s’éteignent

Une à une

Quand même le rayon de Lune

Ne peut effacer mes nuits les plus sombres

 

Le lumineux Dragon

Assis sous le Marronnier

Se lève et se met à briller

De mille feux

 

Quand le Temps ne nous accorde pas de temps

Quand chaque instant

Est une éternité sans toi

Quand je donnerais l’Éternité

Pour un instant avec toi

 

Le généreux Dragon

Assis sous le Marronnier

Se lève et me remet

La Perle de l’Immortalité
